We invite you to attend Fur Ball 2010! The Peninsula SPCA is rolling out the red carpet for its third annual Fur Ball on Saturday, February 20, 2010. We are pleased to extend a paw to sweethearts and their pet companions for a romantic evening of dining and cocktails, to help raise money for our orphaned animals on the Peninsula.

Our goal is to raise donations in support of our mission to find a loving home for every orphaned pet in our community. The Peninsula SPCA is the only shelter on the Peninsula with an open door policy. We accept over 10,000 animals each year regardless of age, health, temperament, or species.

At Fur Ball your pets will flaunt their red bowties and tuxedos during the Parade of Pets. They will enjoy treats at the “Muttini” Bar, a beverage bar designed to delight the palettes of the SPCA’s furry guests, and be pampered at the Pet Plaza. Our Pet Escort volunteers will provide one-on-one care and entertainment for your pet throughout the evening.You and your canine will walk the red carpet during the pet guest parade and take home special doggy gift bags to remember the night.

Community pet lovers will enjoy complimentary cocktails, dancing and live music provided by Tidewater Band Drive and Norfolk Public Schools Strolling Silver Strings, and a silent and live auction. During our live auction, your pet will have the opportunity to become the Peninsula SPCA 2011 SpokesPet!


The Peninsula SPCA is collecting silent auction items for Fur Ball 2010. To donate products and/or services to the Fur Ball's silent auction, please download the silent auction form. Silent auction items needed include restaurant gift certificates for two, vacation home rental packages, pet products, golf packages, etc.

Your pet will be exhausted by the end of Fur Ball.
